Hooded Mergansers

For the last few weeks the Hooded Mergansers have been visiting Union Bay, just north of the Arboretum. The following photos are completely true, however the order displayed and the verbiage are pure fantasy.

"Hey Guys! Let's find some ladies and tell them how handsome we are."

"Look, over there!"

"Let's tell her all about us."

"Where did she go?"

"I think she is behind us."

"She must not heard me, maybe if I sing a little louder..."

"Actually, I prefer the strong and silent type."

"Foiled again."

I hope you enjoyed watching the mergansers via my first post on Union Bay Watch.

Happy Holidays!

Larry

  1. Congratulations, Larry. You have the eye and soul of an artist and philosopher.

Beautiful images and fabulous light. I agree that the more closely we observe nature and its exquisite creatures, the more we grow in our humanity. We all need this connection to bring peace and inspiration to our lives.
