A week ago Sunday I watched crows run off a Sharp-Shinned Hawk, a Copper's Hawk and harass a Great Blue Heron all in short order near the mouth of the Ravenna Creek canal by the UBNA.Larry Hubbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11346591926338103362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7340068615976654326.post-40347148490865513122014-09-29T14:44:39.509-07:002014-09-29T14:44:39.509-07:00Thank you for your comments about the interest in...Thank you for your comments about the interest in maintaining diversity of bird species in the neighborhood and cleaning up our scraps to help us do so. They do not seem to be hunting much from 520 but then this morning I only saw one coot near 520 when I was kayaking. Often in the winter there are dozens if not hundreds of them and I think the eagles find it easier hunting when the coots gather under and around 520.Larry Hubbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11346591926338103362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7340068615976654326.post-72142049752846533282014-09-28T09:03:14.187-07:002014-09-28T09:03:14.187-07:00I saw a bald eagle on the defunct 520 fountain on ...I saw a bald eagle on the defunct 520 fountain on Thursday morning ~8amRyannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7340068615976654326.post-57488265067251111292014-09-27T21:15:30.260-07:002014-09-27T21:15:30.260-07:00Interesting!
